At Bright Water Counseling, I provide individual, family, and group counseling for people from infancy onward, with a focus on healing from trauma and improving relationships. As a Limited License Professional Counselor, I practice under the supervision of a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor.

Individual and Family Counseling $130/session

I provide a safe and supportive environment where you (or your child) and I can develop a therapeutic relationship. Together, we’ll identify your goals for improving your life, relationships, functioning, and/or parenting, and we’ll help you develop a new awareness of your patterns of thinking, feeling, and relating. You and your child can begin to heal from your inner wounds.

Group Counseling $50-$90/session (depends on group size)

In group counseling and classes, you can develop and improve your self-awareness and communication skills in a safe and supportive environment. You can learn how to express your thoughts and feelings in healthy ways, and learn to accept feedback and incorporate it in your life. You can learn new parenting skills and coping techniques.

Classes (pricing varies)

I occasionally offer classes on topics like gentle parenting, positive discipline, how to be a baby whisperer, trauma healing, emotional self-regulation, and meditation for people who can’t sit still.

Payment

At this time, I do not accept insurance directly. I can provide you with the information you need to seek reimbursement from your insurance company.
Payment is due at the end of each session. I accept cash, check, some credit cards, and Venmo.

Cancellation Policy

Sessions will usually be 45-50 minutes long, initially once a week or twice a month, at a time we agree on. The time scheduled for your appointment is assigned to you and you alone. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, I ask that you provide me with 24 hours notice. If it is possible, I will try to find another time to meet with you. Please arrive on time for your session; if you are late, your appointment will still need to end on time.

Missed appointments and late cancellations (except in case of illness or emergency) will incur a fee of $50.
